The London Hawks (name change to Wimbledon in 1995) were a foundation club of the BARFL, playing every season since the league began in 1990. The club is affiliated with the Hawthorn Hawks in the AFL.
Their current playing strip is a gold jumper with a brown Hawk logo and brown side stripes.
They also field a second side, the Balham Hawks, in the London Social division.
The Hawks boast the best ground, at Sir Joseph Hood Memorial Playing Fields in Motspur Park, with on-site changing and showering faclities, bar and BBQ.
The Hawks has a large social calander, highlights being the Ladies Day, with around 500 in attendance, and the annual visit to the Epsom Derby.
